Východná Folk Festival
Východná Folk Festival — the oldest and largest folklore festival in Slovakia.
The oldest and largest nationwide folklore festival takes place annually in the village of Východná, just a short distance from us. This year it runs 3–5 July 2026.
The festival offers:
- A rich program with over 1,400 performers from all over Slovakia and abroad
- Folk dance, music, song and traditional crafts
- Workshops for the whole family
- The atmosphere of Slovak tradition directly under the Tatras
ZA 7 HORAMI (Liptovský Ján)
ZA 7 HORAMI festival — folk and cultural entertainment for the whole family in Liptovský Ján.
The ZA 7 HORAMI festival in Liptovský Ján takes place on the same dates — 3–5 July 2026. It is a folk and music event right in our neighbourhood, combining tradition, music and the regional culture of Liptov.
What to expect:
- Music and cultural program in the open air in the centre of Liptovský Ján
- A children’s program with fairy-tale characters, creative workshops and games
- Folk craftsmen, traditional delicacies and regional specialties
- An atmosphere of family fun in the beautiful surroundings of the Low Tatras
